It was a challenge to give a presentation to fellow endocrinologists of the Philippine Society of Endocrinology & Metabolism on how to maximize their gadgets i.e. smartphones and tablets. So I organized my slides around this acronym – EXCEL.

RelaX: I just shared my favorite reading apps.
Connect: Social media apps
Engage: Apps for lay persons i.e. pedometers, calorie counters, etc.
Learn: Mostly reference apps for doctors
