#HealthXPh at AeHIN hour!

#HealthXPH was invited to a special AeHIN hour last night May 23 8-9 pm. This webinar was hosted on the WebEx platform. I discussed what a tweet chat is, the Healthcare Hashtag Project of Symplur and of course, #HealthXPH. Dr. Gia Sison talked about Twitter and tweet chat etiquette. Dr. Helen Madamba answered questions in the chat box. Dr. Remo Aguilar answered some questions during the Q & A that followed.

AeHIN stands for Asia eHealth Information Network. Its purpose –

The Asia eHealth Information Network (AeHIN) promotes better use of information communication technology (ICT) to achieve better health through peer-to-peer assistance and knowledge sharing and learning through a regional approach for greater country-level impacts across South and Southeast Asia.

More about AeHIN here. My mentor Dr. Alvin Marcelo is chair of AeHIN.

AeHIN Hour is Asia eHealth Information Network’s online learning and sharing sessions participated by member countries. It allows members to share and explore ways on how eHealth, HIS, and CRVS implementations could be improved in the region.

Below is the slide deck I used. The webinar attracted 69 participants from seven countries: Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, USA and the Philippines.

And since last night was a Saturday, the webinar was followed by an actual #HealthXPh tweet chat. We welcomed new participants to our tweet chat! Gia moderated the tweet chat which was about the ePatient Revolution. See the pre-chat blog post here.
Looking forward to collaborating again with AeHIN!
